Call for applications for 2 study grants for refugee students admitted to Master’s Degree courses at the “G. d’Annunzio” University for the Academic Years 2026/2027 and 2027/2028

The project University Corridors for Refugees UNICORE is promoted by 24 Italian universities with the support of UNHCR, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Centro Astalli and other partners. It aims to increase opportunities for refugees currently residing in Ethiopia to continue their higher education in Italy.
Refugees students will be selected to begin degree courses in Italy. The selected students will be exempt from tuition fees at the universities participating in the programme and will receive financial support for plane tickets and visa-related expenses, as well as a study grant to help them during their stay in Italy.
The selection process for admission will be carried out by and is the sole responsablity of the individual universities. To learn more about the selection criteria please also visit the dedicated page at this link and the call for application.
An interview with our alumni: John Pereira II
